REC Solar ASA (Oslo, Norway) on May 5th, 2015 provided an update to its announcement of November 24th, 2014 relating to the sale of its business to Hong Kong based Bluestar Elkem Investment Co. Ltd. through a sale of the newly established holding company REC Solar Holdings S.a.r.l.
Bluestar Elkem has received all approvals, waivers
The Buyer has confirmed that it has received all necessary approvals and waivers to complete the transaction, REC announces. The transaction is therefore expected to be completed shortly.
